Babymoon To Maui

Jordan and I always knew we wanted to do a babymoon as a last hoorah before baby came we talked about where and Maui just felt right, it is where we fell in love after all! I can honestly say our babymoon was my favorite trip we’ve done probably ever, and Jordan agrees! It was so nostalgic and sentimental. We’ve been back to Maui a handful of times since I lived there but this time was so special. We mostly took quick iphone shots vs toting around our dslr and it was such a nice change. And yes, we did take our own maternity photos hahaha not too shabby if you ask me!

I wanted to share some of my favorite MAUI activities (even pregnant!)

ROAD TO HANA - This is always my favorite day! There is SO many amazing and adventurous things to do and see along the way! Wake up EARLY it is a full day endeavor, do your research beforehand of what stops you definitely want to make figure out which milemarker they are at, pack lots of good snacks! Also, if you are driving and see something that sparks your interest like a waterfall on the side of the road that’s calling your name for a quick dip pull over and HOP IN!!!

some of my favorite stops are

Three Bears Falls mm 19

Black Sand Beach mm 32 THIS IS A MUST SEE!!

Venus Pools mm 48.1

Waimoku Falls + Bamboo Forrest mm 42

SNORKELING AT HONOLUA - The walk through the jungle to get to the water is alone worth coming for! This spot is a busy one but for good reason! Make sure you swim out far enough to see the good stuff, usually out near where the catamarans are anchored!

WAIHEE RIDGE TRAIL - I love this hike because the views are INSANELY GORGEOUS annnd you don’t have to do the entire hike to get those views! My little preggo self couldn’t quite make it all the way up but it was still so insanely beautiful!

NAKELELE BLOWHOLE - This whole area is so gorgeous!

BEACH HOPPING- Maui has the most incredible beaches and a lot of them!! See as many of them as you can! Some of our favorites are Black Rock & Kaanapali Beach (fun cliff jumping + snorkeling), Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay, Secret Beach, Big Beach.

FOOD

ULULANI’S SHAVE ICE - If you forgo the opportunity to try Ululani’s you just aren’t living right! They have THEEEE best shave ice on the planet! I highly recommend getting the macnut ice cream in the bottom and trying melona for one of your flavors!

MAMA’S FISH HOUSE - This place is a must must for my seafood lovers. By far the most recommended restaurant on the island!

KOA’S - They have amazing breakfasts & lunch! Their banana mac pancakes with coconut syrup are no longer on the menu but they will make them for you anyway! The Gazebo is known for theirs but there is usually at least an hour wait and Koa’s are just as good imo! Their breakfast burritos are also super yummy annnd their lunch menu is awesome!!

COOL CAT CAFE - Yummy burger joint on Front Street!

TEDDY’S BURGERS - One of our favorite local burger chains!

MONKEY POD - Super yummy and unique foods! We usually hit this for dinner and then take a walk along Kaanapali beach!

CHOICE HEALTH BAR - ACAI BOWLS BABY! These definitely aren’t the best I’ve had but they are still good! Next time I’m in Maui finding the best acai bowl is top of my list!

Valencia Spain

Our first International trip of the 2019 VALENCIA SPAIN!! We have visited Spain a few times but were so excited to see a new part of Spain and Valencia stole our hearts!! Like most of our travels we came to film a convention for one of our clients and decided to fly in a few days early so we could enjoy this beautiful city and we are SO glad we did!!

The Scott Resort

I have always had a strong desire to visit Arizona because I grew up just one state away, yet had NEVER been there! So Jordan and I decided to take a little weekend trip to escape the cold and stay at the beautiful Scott Resort in Scottsdale. We wanted a mellow weekend to relax and rejuvenate because we were just coming off of a month long European work trip with our little video production company which was amazing but insanely busy and travel international travel is always exhausting! So we loved the idea of staying at a resort! The grounds were SO beautiful it was such an incredible cuban vibe and I literally wanted to renovate my entire house after seeing this place because it was truly so beautiful! The food at the Canal Club was soo yummy as well! We loved hanging out poolside soaking in the warm sunshine the pools are amazing and the private cabanas are nothing short of perfection! They had fun events constantly, outdoor movies, dancing, and bikes you can take for a spin! We are already looking forward to coming back to The Scott!

The Streets of Paris | OBSHOES

Our very first time in Paris and I am completely mesmerized by this place. The language, the food, the architecture, EVERYTHING is beautiful. I have absolutely loooved just walking around stopping into patisseries and boulangeries grabbing croissants and baguettes constantly. Let's be honest walking the streets of Paris was one of my life highlights, walking the streets of Paris is cute shoes makes it that much better.

Thanks to OFF BROADWAY SHOE WAREHOUSE I was strutting around the streets like I belonged there.

A Day At Disneyland | KAITLYNOELLE

Jordan and I are avid Disney freaks to say the least. You say the words Disneyland and we instantly turn into five year olds. So when we had to head to Vegas to film an event we figured why not make the drive out to California spend a little time on the beach and of course our favorite place of all.. DISNEYLAAAAAND! And we decided to do a little vlog because we want to remember doing Disneyland in our prime with no kids hahahaha! Feel free to leave any Disneyland favorites, tips, and tricks!!

Lake Atitlan Guatemala | KAITLYNOELLE

Part 2 of our Guatemala Trip in Lake Atitlan! Though our time here was pretty short we enjoyed every second! We stayed at the craziest airbnb RIGHT on the lake with our own private little dock! It was like heaven on earth! We spent the day shooting from sunrise till sunset! It was so much fun! I kept confusing the lake for ocean because it was SO HUGEEEE and looked like the ocean, so turquoise and clear as clear can be. If you're ever in Guatemala you HAVE to visit Lake Atitlan!

Malibu Swim Shoot | Piper & Scoot

We got to trade in snowy & freezing cold for sunny & warm at the beach for a day to shoot the new Piper & Scoot swim collection! Nothing makes me happier than sunshine, beaches, and swimming suits so I was in absolute heaven, not to mention I got to hangout my some of my favorite gals for a whole day while we made some swim magic happen! This shoot made me feel so grateful that I get to do what I absolutely love the most everyday! Chase your dreams people! And that I get to do it with such amazing people! I made a little vlog to document the day! Enjoy!

You can find all these cute swimming suits at Piper & Scoot

ANTIGUA GUATEMALA

We kicked off our crazy travel year with our first international trip to GUATEMALA with the amazing Nena & Co! I was super excited because it was my first time and from everything I had seen and heard it looked like a really beautiful, culture rich place. Needless to say we did NOT want to come home at the end of our trip and we even extended it a couple days longer than the group we were with! We spent most of our time in downtown Antigua which is probably the most charming little town ever. All of the buildings are so colorful and they all have AMAZING doors, and flowers planters on every window. The streets are all cobble stone which was so cute, but Jordan and I learned the hard way that going for a run on cobble stone streets is basically asking for a rolled ankle hahaha. We rented a motorcycle and had so much fun zipping around on that thing. The food and the shopping... UNREAL, we still crave the food and the shopping was so fun and colorful. I bought some beautiful one of a kind rugs to forever remind me of this amazing place! As we were walking around on our last night we both got so sad realizing we might not ever make our way back there (we hope that's not the case). Some of the highlight things we did in Antigua: We got to visit a hospital that cares for children whose families cannot. We got to play with these kids and snuggle them and it was the sweetest experience. Jordan and I also hiked a volcano and got to roast marshmallows at the top and I can't help but feel like I probably won't be doing anything like that again anytime soon. I also honestly loved just walking the streets of Antigua. Like I said it is so so charming and the people are so kind and every corner you turn your drooling because of how beautiful it all is. It was also SOO amazing to see the behind the scenes of Nena & Co and how their bags are made and to learn about the history. Jordan and I were filming and documenting for them and have some really fun content that will be rolling out over the next few months so go follow them so see it all! In the mean time here's a little taste of what we saw in Antigua.

Trying to get caught up on posting my all of shoots here on the blog! Wish me luck! (haha)

SAN FRANCISCO

The city that I never stop falling in love with. We went out with some of our good friends to visit another one of our good couple friends that just moved out to SF, so we figured it was the perfect excuse to take a little trip!

Activities I would highly recommend//

Giants Game - You can get tickets for super cheap, plus the views from the field are amazing! Just be sure to bundle up, it can get real chilly!

Redwoods - We went to the Muirwoods it was soooooo COOL! The Muirwoods are small patch compared to the actual "redwood forest" but it is the closest to the city. So if the redwoods are a high priority + you are up for a drive it may be worth doing, if not the Muirwoods are two thumbs up!

Dolores Park - This park is HUGEEE + an amazing view of the city! It's the perfect picnic spot! Plus it's kiddie corner from Bi-Rite ice cream.

Golden Gate Park - Lots & lots going on here museums, exhibits, etc. I recommend looking into all the activities here to see if any spike your interest! It's a cool park.

BIKING THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - Okay okay I have to start this one with a disclaimer. This bike ride is no cake walk! The hills (or the one main hill more) are... intense. However you can easily hop off your bike and walk it up or take a break if needed. We pushed through and I was shocked I was still alive hahaha maybe a little bit dramatic. Once you are on the actual bridge though it is amazing! The bridge itself is insane, then you've got ocean on all sides of you, and beautiful views everywhere as well! It also was dang windy! This was scary and exhilarating and crazy and amazing all at the same time. We also rode down into Sausalito the cutest little place & I loved it! The people we rented the bikes from gave us tickets to ride the ferry back but apparently the ferry is SO unreliable with their times and it was getting late so we ended up taking a cab back to the city. All in all this was for sure a highlight for me, and if the bike ride doesn't sound like your thing at least go walk on the bridge!

FOOOOD //

Jordan & I have both been here a time or two and have our favorite food places here are some:

Tony's Pizza Napoletana - OH MA GOSH! These guys know how to do pizza, I still crave this place!

Biscuits & Blues - This place has a cool underground jazz vibe, you are literally in a basement with a live jazz band + the best southern comfort food!

Burma Superstar - This is one of Jordan's very favorite places. Think Thai food but more exotic.

Bob's Donuts - Unfortunately we didn't make it here this trip, but this place came highly recommended! We were told 11pm - midnight is the best time to go!

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse - Be prepared to wait in a bit of a line, the wait is worth it! The yummiest pastries + lots of great photo opportunities ;)

Bi-Rite Ice Cream - Again didn't make it here but we have heard amazing things so I had to throw it on here!

Hope this list can help you have an enjoyable trip to SF the next time you go!

clothing + swimwear // piper + scoot

This shoot was magic, but what you don't see is that it was so frizzin' cold, my limbs were so numb I had to have one of the assistants help me get dressed & undressed (sorry Laurel) haha our car also got stuck in the sand & I woke up the next morning feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. Cold number 3 this winter. We always joke after shoots like this that we all really would sacrifice ourselves for Piper & Scoot cause we love what we do & who we work with so much!

Thailand pt. 1 Bangkok + Chiang Mai

We traveled to Thailand to film a short film documentary & produce a behind the scenes video of the film as well. It was constantly go go go. In the midst of all the hectic craziness it was so important for Jordan & I to take the time to make special moments and memories together while we were in this crazy place. Since being home everyone has asked "How was Thailand?" and there are simply no words to describe it. So with iphone video and a few handheld camera shots (which is far from our typical set up) we threw together a quick highlight of our experience. (Separate from our behind the scenes series - STAY TUNED it's going to be an amazing series) Our itinerary was INSANE 13 flights in 14 days, yes that is real. But so worth getting to see and experience everything that we did. Here is Part 1 of our trip
